Emilia has taught, assisted, facilitated and lectured a diverse range of participants, from community classes for mature movers, University students, to BTEC dance and youth dance companies. Emilia's community-based work with young people is delivered through workshops named "MotionLabs", allowing individuals to experience and experiment with contemporary dance and creative movement. Emilia's teaching approach is professional and engaging, with each session being specifically tailored for that group. Emilia's teaching philosophy is rooted in the importance of each individual understanding and developing their own body-mind knowledge, physical information, sensory awareness, performance abilities and creative voice. Previous training in Contemporary Dance (Release-based), Somatic Practices, Alexander Technique, Yoga and Ballet feed into her current pedagogy. Emilia's classes provide a space in which individuals can move, create and reflect with an open mind, laying down foundations for developing their future professional practice.
